3aaa Apprenticeships Exclusive Apprenticeship Levy Club

The Apprenticeship Levy requires all UK organisations with an annual payroll over £3 million have to pay 0.5% of their payroll costs, through PAYE, to HMRC.

Employers can either see this as a tax or use their Apprenticeship Levy contributions to hire new Apprentices or train their own staff using Apprenticeship Standards. Either way, they will need to work together with a training provider that are on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers to help them train and develop these staff.

Project Management

If you choose to partner with 3aaa Apprenticeships, you will receive your own Project Manager free of charge. This Project Manager will be assigned to your company and will fully support you with your Apprenticeship Levy plans.

Their aim will be to work with you to gain a thorough understanding of the training and personnel development needs that are needed within your organisation and they will advise you on the right Apprenticeship programmes to help develop your business.

Your Project Manager will also help you decide how you would like to spend your Apprenticeship Levy contributions by looking at your staff needs. You can either use your funds to up-skill existing staff or hire and train new recruits and your dedicated Project Manager will help you figure out which is the best route for you to take.

Your Project Manager will also work closely with you to develop new Apprenticeship Standards that will be required over time. These job-relevant Standards will ensure that your Apprentices are learning the right skills and knowledge that your business requires them to know so that they are a competent and accomplished employee.

Regular Apprenticeship Levy Conferences

To ensure that our Levy Club Members are always up to date with all Apprenticeship Levy and Education Sector changes, we hold exclusive conferences throughout the year. So far we have held conferences in London, Leicester and Derby and always receive great feedback on the day.

Our conferences offer employers the opportunity to network with other Levy Club Members and learn how other businesses are utilising their Apprenticeship levy spend, as well as giving them the chance to hear business development advice from industry leading speakers from across the UK.

We send our Levy Club Members a weekly newsletter. This newsletter contains different news stories and information regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and other Apprenticeship updates to make sure our partner-employers are always informed on all the changes that happen.

This cloud-based information management platform allows you to track the progress of all the staff you are training, ensuring that you are always aware of how they are getting on with their development.

Your Project Manager will work with you to determine your business needs and help you decide if hiring a new Apprentice or training existing staff is the best option to fill your skills gap.

If you do decide to employ a new recruit, your Project Manager will manage the recruitment process from start to end. Once we have worked with you to establish the requirements your potential candidates must have, we recruit using the most relevant industry job recruitment sites alongside our online portal, Apprentice Career. The Apprenticeship Levy Team will also search for your perfect Apprentice in our existing candidate pool.

Budget Monitoring

Probably the most important aspect of your Apprenticeship Levy strategy is being able to track your funds. Your Project Manager will ensure you get the maximum return on investment from your Apprenticeship Levy contributions, we will map your current training budget fully to the new funding bands and relevant Standards and provide you with a monthly summary of spend against forecast training plans.
