The Apprenticeship Levy requires all UK organisations with an annual payroll over £3 million have to pay 0.5% of their payroll costs, through PAYE, to HMRC.
Employers can either see this as a tax or use their Apprenticeship Levy contributions to hire new Apprentices or train their own staff using Apprenticeship Standards. Either way, they will need to work together with a training provider that are on the Register of Apprenticeship Training Providers to help them train and develop these staff.
3aaa Apprenticeships are proud to be on this register and if you choose to partner with us to develop your Apprenticeship Levy strategy, you will become a part of our exclusive Apprenticeship Levy Club.
We currently have just under 100 UK businesses that are already reaping the benefits of being in our exclusive Levy Club and 3aaa Apprenticeships can support many more with their Apprenticeship Levy plans. Here are the main benefits of becoming one of our Apprenticeship Levy Club Members below:
If you choose to partner with 3aaa Apprenticeships, you will receive your own Project Manager free of charge. This Project Manager will be assigned to your company and will fully support you with your Apprenticeship Levy plans.
Their aim will be to work with you to gain a thorough understanding of the training and personnel development needs that are needed within your organisation and they will advise you on the right Apprenticeship programmes to help develop your business.
Your Project Manager will also help you decide how you would like to spend your Apprenticeship Levy contributions by looking at your staff needs. You can either use your funds to up-skill existing staff or hire and train new recruits and your dedicated Project Manager will help you figure out which is the best route for you to take.
Your Project Manager will also work closely with you to develop new Apprenticeship Standards that will be required over time. These job-relevant Standards will ensure that your Apprentices are learning the right skills and knowledge that your business requires them to know so that they are a competent and accomplished employee.

Weekly Levy Newsletters
We send our Levy Club Members a weekly newsletter. This newsletter contains different news stories and information regarding the Apprenticeship Levy and other Apprenticeship updates to make sure our partner-employers are always informed on all the changes that happen.
Stewart Segal is the Director of Policy and Strategy at 3aaa Apprenticeships and has had a long and successful career in the education sector. Stewart’s experience and knowledge allows us to create and distribute video updates regarding the Apprenticeship Levy. Stewart’s video updates are sent to our Levy Club Members on a regular basis and help employers to understand the complicated policy changes associated with Apprenticeships.
We also consistently update our News page and social media sites so that employers can always find out the most recent Apprenticeship Levy news.
Remember, if you do choose to partner with 3aaa Apprenticeships for the Apprenticeship Levy, you can always ask your Project Manager any questions you may have regarding the Apprenticeship Levy or the Education Sector.
Learner Management Platform
Sometimes, Apprenticeship training can seem more complicated than it is. All our Apprenticeship Levy Club Members have exclusive access to our Learner Management platform, OneFile. This cloud-based information management platform allows you to track the progress of all the staff you are training, ensuring that you are always aware of how they are getting on with their development.
Outstanding Delivery and Large Network
We have 40 academies across the country, to support training delivery regardless of your businesses location. 3aaa Apprenticeships are Grade 1 Outstanding by Ofsted, delivering the highest quality training and assessment in each of our academies so you can rest assured that you and your employees will receive the highest standard of education and Apprenticeship support no matter where your company is based.
To help you even further, we have a large team of curriculum developers, a video and social media production team and a marketing design team which all ensure that the courses and training we offer are cutting edge and engaging. They will also provide an invaluable resource to help you promote your Apprenticeship scheme across your company.
Complimentary Recruitment Service
At 3aaa Apprenticeships we understand that it is not always easy to find and recruit hard working and motivated staff, but if you choose to partner with us to implement your Apprenticeship Levy strategy, we can make this process a lot simpler for you.
Your Project Manager will work with you to determine your business needs and help you decide if hiring a new Apprentice or training existing staff is the best option to fill your skills gap.
If you do decide to employ a new recruit, your Project Manager will manage the recruitment process from start to end. Once we have worked with you to establish the requirements your potential candidates must have, we recruit using the most relevant industry job recruitment sites alongside our online portal, Apprentice Career. The Apprenticeship Levy Team will also search for your perfect Apprentice in our existing candidate pool.
As well as receiving our complimentary recruitment service, our Levy Club Members have access to the back-end of our online portal, Apprentice Career. Apprentice Career allows job seekers, and those looking to progress their careers, to understand the benefits of doing an Apprenticeship, get information from current Apprentices and employers, and most importantly, search for all the Apprenticeship vacancies available right now. Our partnering employers can use Apprentice Career to create their own job advertisements and find their perfect Apprentice.
Probably the most important aspect of your Apprenticeship Levy strategy is being able to track your funds. Your Project Manager will ensure you get the maximum return on investment from your Apprenticeship Levy contributions, we will map your current training budget fully to the new funding bands and relevant Standards and provide you with a monthly summary of spend against forecast training plans.
