CITY AND GUILDS LEVEL 3 FRAMEWORK
WHAT WILL THEY DO?
During their academy days, your employee will learn how to maintain ICT equipment and systems, including the fundamentals of cabling and wireless connectivity, the configuration or remote management systems and selecting the correct processes and requirements for end-to-end testing of systems.

Your employee will:
- Strip down and repair computers
- Change computer systems
- Install, configure and update a range of operating systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose faults on PCs and simple networks
- Install and configure peer to peer networks
- Understand the basics of server networks
- Troubleshoot, evaluate and test a range of software applications
- Test and evaluate computer software and code
- Build and test websites
TRAINING AND MENTORING
This programme will last for 12 months, with your employee receiving 10 weeks’ worth of training from both their designated 3aaa Apprenticeships mentor and trainers in one of our 40 training academies.
During the academy sessions, your employee will cover a variety of modules, selected by both you and your employee. They will learn the theory behind their practical tasks in the workplace, the fundamentals of IT and gain an in-depth knowledge about the industry.
INDUSTRY LEADING QUALIFICATIONS
On completion of the programme, your employee will be awarded with a City and Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Professional Competence for IT and Telecoms Professional and a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Systems and Principles
UTILISING YOUR APPRENTICESHIP LEVY FUNDS
This programme can be paid for through your Apprenticeship Levy contributions. The cost for this programme is £9,000, which would be paid through your Digital Apprenticeship Service account. Our expert team can work closely with your business to help you manage and effectively utilise your Apprenticeship Levy funds.
