WHAT WILL THE DIGITAL MARKETER DO?
During the 15-month programme, your Network Engineer will support your business by identifying and understanding the end user of your software and supporting development to ensure your software is operating effectively and supporting your business decisions.

Your Network Engineer will learn to:
- Design simple networks from a well-defined specification and apply appropriate security products and process
- Install and configure network components, including switches, routers and firewalls
- Understand the applications of the principles of networking, protocols and associated technologies
- Understand the architecture of a typical business IT system, including hardware, OS, server, virtualisation, middleware and application
- Have an understanding of the IT laws and regulations applicable to their role

INDUSTRY LEADING QUALIFICATIONS
Upon completion of the qualification, your employee will be awarded a Level 4 qualification in Network Engineering. In addition to this, they can also take additional vendor of professional qualifications. Examples of these are: Network+, Server +, Security +. These additional qualifications will be agreed with yourselves, your local academy and learning mentor.
UTILISING YOUR APPRENTICESHIP LEVY FUNDS
This programme can be paid for through your Apprenticeship Levy contributions. The cost for this programme is £18,000, which would be paid through your Digital Apprenticeship Service account.
