WHAT WILL THEY DO?
Over this 15-month programme, your employee will learn to become a Data Analyst, gaining the skills and knowledge required to become a fully qualified Data Analyst. Your employee will undertake activities and projects, in line with your business’ organisational procedures, and learn to collect, organise and study data in order to provide business insights.

- Identify, collect and migrate data to/from a range of internal and external systems.
- Manipulate and link different data sets as required.
- Perform routine statistical analysis and ad-hoc queries.

- Use a range of analytical techniques such as data mining and modelling techniques to identify and predict trends and data patterns.

TRAINING AND ASSESSING
Over the course of this 18-month programme, your Data Analyst will have regular communications with their assigned learning coach, either through face-to-face visits or telephone contact. They will also be requried to attend delivery workshops, where they will learn the technical skills and knowledge to support their role and day-to-day activities. Your Data Analyst will also receive masterclasses from industry experts, workplace visits from their designated learning coach and preparation workshops in anticipation for their End-Point Assessment. All of the support given is provided so that your Data Analyst has the best possible opportunity and experience to succeed, both on this programme, and in their career.
The coach will guide your Data Analyst through the programme, offering support at every stage, helping them to build an electric portfolio of evidence to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that they have developed.
INDUSTRY LEADING QUALIFICATIONS
This training programme is recognised for entry onto the Register of IT Technicians confirming SFIA Level 3 professional competence and those completing the programme are eligible to apply for registration.
Employees will have to achieve the Professional Qualification, EMC: Data Science Associate, which will exempt them from taking the Data Analyst Tools Knowledge Module.
